hmed Yousef, public relations official for Hamas: "We like Mr. Obama and we hope he will win the election...He has a vision to change America."
Libya's Muammar Khadafi: "...all the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man. They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American Presidency."
Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan: "...this young man [Obama] is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better... [Obama] could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."
Egyptian journalist Yasser Khalil: "Barack Obama represents a phenomenon that has drawn global attention and captivated the minds of Muslims around the world...this level of support for an American presidential candidate is unprecedented in the Muslim world...large segments of the Muslim population here remain fascinated with the election and have become big fans of Senator Obama."

I'm more concerned about Zbignew Brzezynski and his son Mark, plus all the other CFR hacks advising Obama on foreign policy. This is what Americans should be focused on about Barack Obama, not whether radical Muslims like him or not. Same goes for McCain.

Americans will never focus on CFR connections. Most never get to that level of analysis.

It's me again under my other alias. Many Americans in this last election cycle have become aware of the CFR. The awareness is small, but growing and will hopefully continue to grow. You're right in that Americans will never get to that level of analysis as long as they keep getting all their news and information from the big TV Networks and newspapers like the NYT, Washington Post, Reuters and AP, all of which are run by CFR members. That's why they like to put out stories like Obama's appeal among radical Islamists. These stories are largely a distraction and in this election cycle will likely anger swing voters into choosing Obama.

I did the whole CFR and related stuff back in the 80s. It was clear to me then that no matter how successful the information was made available, it could not reach a critical mass with the population.
Conceptual pain will only get perhaps 5% of population. Emotional and economic pain is what gets a critical mass.

We may get to experience that critical mass in the very near future.
